What is AccrediStart HVA?
A range of one-off, do-it-yourself editable Word and Excel document packs to help Australian heavy-vehicle operators build, implement and maintain their own system for the NHVR's Heavy Vehicle Accreditation (HVA) scheme.
Which packs are there?
The Complete HVA Bundle (117 files, $2,950 + GST), the GSA Pack (47 files, $1,195 + GST), and three add-ons that require GSA: the Mass Management Pack (40 files), Maintenance Management Pack (29 files) and Fatigue Management Pack (34 files), each $695 + GST.
Is this a done-for-you service?
No. It's an editable DIY document pack. Your business must choose its scope, customise the documents, assign responsibilities, train people, operate the system and keep evidence.
Do the packs come with the AccrediRoad Platform?
No. AccrediStart HVA packs are a separate one-off purchase. They are not included in AccrediRoad Platform subscriptions, and you don't need a subscription to buy a pack.
GSA and add-ons
Do I need GSA?
Yes. The NHVR's published scheme makes General Safety Accreditation mandatory for entry into the HVA scheme. Mass, Maintenance and Fatigue build on GSA.
Can I buy an add-on without GSA?
No. Each add-on requires GSA. At checkout you'll be asked to confirm that your operation already has the AccrediStart GSA Pack, or that you are buying it separately.
Does the Fatigue Pack give me fatigue hours?
Your operating limits statement must use your own NHVR-approved hours and conditions. The pack does not give you any hours entitlement.
Audit and accreditation
Does purchase include an official audit?
No. You arrange and pay an independent approved HVA auditor. AccrediRoad does not perform the official audit.
Does purchase guarantee accreditation?
No. Accreditation decisions are made by the NHVR after the required application and audit process. Results depend on your configuration, implementation, evidence and ongoing compliance.
Is this legal advice?
No. The packs are templates and guides. Get your own legal or professional advice where you need it, and always check current requirements on nhvr.gov.au.
Price, payment and delivery
Are prices GST inclusive?
No. All AccrediStart HVA prices are + GST. GST is added at checkout and shown on your tax invoice.
How is it delivered?
Straight after payment you're taken to a secure download page for the pack you bought, and the same link is printed on your tax invoice. The files are editable Word and Excel documents in one ZIP. If a download ever fails, email contact@accrediroad.com.au.
What format are the files?
Editable Word (.docx) and Excel (.xlsx) files in one ZIP.
Can I share the files with other businesses?
No. Your purchase gives your business a licence to use and adapt the files internally. See the pack terms.
What if my download fails?
Go back to your download page (the link is on your tax invoice). If it still fails, email contact@accrediroad.com.au with your checkout email and we'll send your files.
